About

Sometime in late 2007 we were eating in a Savannah restaurant and overheard a conversation at a table near us.  One of the women said to her dining partner, “You are so lucky that your husband got to come home for the birth.”  It turns out that her husband, a soldier with the 3rd Infantry Division, had been deployed and was unable to return home for the birth of his child.  This is a heartbreaking unintended consequence of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Like most Richmond Hill, GA residents, we are very supportive of the 3rd ID and we pondered what we might do to help with this situation.  This was the birth of eStork, a simple program where we photographers offer a free newborn photo session for babies that are born while daddy is deployed and unable to return home for the birth.  The photos are given, free of charge, to the mother on a CD, in a size suitable for email.  She can then email the photos to daddy or we will do it for her from the studio.  It is a small way for us to give back to those that give so much for us.

Please join us!  There is no cost to participate in this program.  We welcome any photographer that is willing to help us with this project.  So. if you live near a military base and would like to pay it forward, simply fill out the form on the Sign Up page, agree to our simple terms and conditions, and check out the tips and tactics on the Getting Starting page.
